1. The service
Poodle Chess provides browser-based chess analysis, Game Review, GM Poodle Coach explanations, practice tools, and Self Analysis.
2. Optional accounts
You may use analysis without registering. If you create an account, keep access to your sign-in method secure. The free library currently has no fixed game-count limit, subject to fair use and service availability. You can delete individual analyses or permanently delete the account and its saved library from the account page.
3. Analysis is educational
Engine evaluations, accuracy, performance estimates, move labels, reliability, and coaching are educational product outputs. They are not official FIDE, federation, Chess.com, or Lichess ratings or rulings. AI-generated wording can be incomplete or imperfect; verify concrete lines on the board.
4. Your game content
You may submit games you are permitted to use. Do not include personal, confidential, unlawful, or harmful information in PGN comments. You remain responsible for content you submit. Poodle Chess processes game data to provide the requested service as described in the Privacy Notice.
5. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, bypass rate limits, probe private services, extract server secrets, automate abusive request volumes, or use Poodle Chess to facilitate cheating in an ongoing game or event. Analysis is intended for completed games, study, and permitted training.
6. Availability
Analysis can be delayed or unavailable because of capacity, maintenance, upstream AI-provider failure, malformed PGN, or other technical limits.
7. Product ownership
Poodle Chess retains rights in its product interface, code, branding, review model, documentation, and original presentation. Third-party components and chess data remain subject to their own licenses. These terms do not transfer ownership of a user's game.
8. Reasonable limitations
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Poodle Chess is not responsible for decisions made solely from an engine estimate, AI explanation, temporary outage, or loss of unsaved browser state. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Changes
Material changes receive a new effective date. Continued use after an update means use under the updated terms.
