1. Import the game
Paste PGN text or upload a file exported by Chess.com, Lichess, or another compatible platform. The game is checked for compatibility, and you choose the color you played.
2. Analyze every position deeply
Every move is examined in the context of the full game, with additional checks applied to critical and complex positions. You receive a deeply analyzed game, carefully verified conclusions, and a reliable foundation for every score, classification, and recommendation that follows.
3. Build the Game Review
| Output | What it helps answer |
|---|---|
| Accuracy | How consistently did each side preserve the position's expected result? |
| Performance estimate | What level of decision quality did this single game demonstrate? |
| Phase breakdown | Where did play remain strongest: opening, middlegame, or endgame? |
| Move quality | Which moves were brilliant, great, excellent, good, inaccurate, mistaken, or blundered? |
| Strength signals | Which chess skills had enough relevant positions to support a conclusion? |
4. State the reliability
A polished number is not automatically a trustworthy number. Poodle Chess evaluates analysis coverage and signal quality before presenting a reliability level.
| Level | Meaning |
|---|---|
| High | Sufficient coverage and stable evidence support the whole-game review. |
| Medium | The review is useful, but some positions or signals deserve more caution. |
| Insufficient | There is not enough evidence for the affected metric or phase; no score is invented. |
5. Understand the difficult moments
GM Poodle Coach turns the most important moments of your game into clear, practical explanations. You see what changed in the position, why a move succeeded or failed, which alternative was stronger, and what idea to remember for future games.
Complex variations are distilled into understandable chess language, so you can focus on the decision that mattered instead of sorting through raw analysis.
6. Practise the decision
Game Review identifies what happened. Improve and Self Analysis help you do something with it: replay a critical position, calculate a new line, request a hint, or explore alternatives directly on the board.
