Deep analysis, carefully checked
Every position is analysed before the review is created. Critical and complex moments receive additional checks, and the final values are compared with the supporting chess lines before they are shown.
The result is one consistent picture of the game: evaluation, accuracy, performance, phases, move quality, strengths, and coaching all reflect the same carefully verified analysis.
Every position is examined in context
Each move is evaluated as part of the full game, not as an isolated number. Tactical turns, critical decisions, and uncertain classifications receive deeper confirmation before the review is final.
Additional controls check legal alternatives, evaluation stability, forced lines, and whether each conclusion is supported by enough evidence.
How the Game Review is formed
The completed analysis is turned into a whole-game view for both players, including accuracy, performance, phases, move quality, strengths, and reliability.
Accuracy
Accuracy summarises decision quality across eligible moves. Book moves, forced mates, and positions without enough evidence are handled separately, so missing data is not treated as a mistake.
Performance estimate
Performance is an objective estimate for one game, calibrated from the available review evidence. It is not an official rating, rating change, or claim about a player's stable strength.
Move classification
Move labels consider more than a single evaluation change. The analysis considers the expected-result change, tactical context, legal alternatives, difficulty, uniqueness, and additional confirmation. Brilliant, great, excellent, and good remain distinct categories.
Phase and skill metrics
Opening, middlegame, and endgame are separated using position context rather than fixed move numbers alone. Skill ratings require a minimum number of relevant positions. An unrated skill is reported as insufficient data, not as a strength or weakness.
Reliability
Reliability is a quality statement about this analysis, not a decoration. It reflects whether enough moves were examined, evaluations remained stable, and every affected metric has the evidence it needs.
| Level | What it means |
|---|---|
| High | The review has strong coverage and stable supporting evidence. |
| Medium | The review remains useful but carries a visible caution. |
| Insufficient | Unsupported values are withheld or clearly marked as missing. |
GM Poodle Coach explanations
GM Poodle Coach turns the most important moments of your game into clear, practical explanations. It shows what changed, why a move succeeded or failed, which alternatives deserve attention, and what lesson to carry into future games.
Complex variations are reduced to the ideas that matter, so you can understand the decision instead of sorting through raw lines and numbers.
Every explanation is checked against the completed analysis before it is shown. When a conclusion cannot be supported clearly, the Coach keeps it cautious or leaves it out rather than inventing certainty.
